Urethane cast MP-40 9mm Schmeisser Sub-Machinegun.

This paragraph contains a brief description of the product ...

This MP-40 replica is the best I have made in many, many years! It is made from cast urethane resin, showing intricate detail down to knurling on knobs, the heads of screws, and even the makers marks and dates stamped in the receiver! The detail is so good you'll think you can loosen the screws with a screwdriver! The MP-40 is reinforced with a 5/16" steel rod down the center, steel wire in the trigger guard grips, and in the sling attachment loops! You can confidently attach your leather sling and USE this replica in reenactments, parades and displays! It weighs about 4 or 5 pounds. You don't put this on the shelf, afraid to use it, it is ready to go to the field! It won't corrode or rust, either! It is painted with a flat black base primer and a satin black top coat. This closely resembles most MP-40's of WWII, with the exception of some wartime variations. You can paint it to match them if you like. The tip of the steel rod is painted blaze orange to identify it as a non-gun. The tip may be altered by you if you desire. It comes with ONE magazine. The mag is cut short and attaches to the mag port of the gun with a dowel. Since the gun is solid, it cannot accept a full length magazine. The other available magazine, also made from cast resin, is full length with a 9mm round ready to feed. The detail includes 2 Waffenampt stamps, makers ID and date and even the letters "9mm" are clearly visible on the rim of the cartridge! The cartridge is painted brass color. These additional replica mags are available, so you can fill your pouches for cheap money! The "folding stock" is cast in the folded position, and does not unfold. Most MP-40's were carried and used in this manner, anyway. There is a bolt charging handle attached to the receiver, as well. The front sight blade exists in the front sight hood, allowing the replica to be "aimed" as a real one would. Since it is solid, it easily satisfies the BATF since there is NO WAY it can chamber or fire ANYTHING! The buyer is totally responsible to assure they can purchase and own this replica due to any legal liabilities, local or state laws. Why buy this replica? If you buy a real parts kit, it will cost you $800 to $1000 for a torch cut pile of parts. Then you must have it assembled to meet ATF non-firing requirements or you're in trouble! Or install a $200 dummy solid receiver. So you have a $1,200.00 dummy gun that does no more than this one can do, and you'll be afraid to use it! It can rust, and you don't want that! Go the easy route and get this one! Since this is a movie prop made in a molding operation, there is a "seam" or parting line which is not perfect, and there are a few very minor molding blemishes. These are negligible and do not detract from the appearance and realism. I assure you it will fool anyone until a very close inspection is made. Very close. I accept personal and cashiers checks. Personal checks MUST clear before I ship anything. I only ship in Continental US, but if you live elsewhere, I'll ship to a friend of yours or a relaying shipper in the US for you. I charge $15.00 for shipping anywhere in Cont. US. If you have questions, email me.
