Caresa, Invocations MUSH![]()

| IC information: |
Styled to curve against her jawline, the ebon
hair has lost most its curl; this new hairstyle, however, does much to
reveal the girl's features: her long, straight nose, those electric blue
eyes, and thin lips oft puckered into her habitual half-smile .
In form, she is average of height and blessed with feminine curves.Dark coils, or what is left of them, have been swept back into a sloppy runner's tail, tresses away from Care's countenance. Attire adjusted for working outside, tunic is simple, if somewhat worn; color is faded, a midnight blue to hide possible smudges of dirt and mud. Trous are plain, as well, with dark mahogany as the shade. Boots are scuffed and scraped and dusty.

Caresa's history
Blessedly ignorant with the ways of the world, Caresa was born and raised in a secluded cothold near Ista; father Carlin, mother Haresa - two fishermen who occasionally spawned children - kept Caresa, along with her sisters Harlina, Arelia, and Carena, as close to family ties as manageable. Fate decided for each child early on: their life was supposed to be the cothold, the fishing, the family. Unable to bear such a life, Harlina was the first to leave; Carena skipped out next, to later find a life for herself at Ista Weyr as lifemate to blue Hiyalth. While Arelia stayed on (she felt sorry for her parents), Caresa was the last to leave: at sixteen, she set off across Pern in search of her nitch in the world. That nitch was discovered when she found herself in the Southern Continent, at Drake's Hold.
After having settled at Drake's Hold, Caresa looked into the beastcraft as a possible area of interest. Then, a few days later, she joined as a junior apprentice. Not longer after joining and falling into the routine of an apprentice's life, Caresa was Searched by Yllyana and blue Ayinth for Honshu's current clutch, Selena's gold Leannoth's and B'den's brown Gittith.
Candidacy helped Caresa, the shy and simplistic Caresa, to become more open; nevertheless, throughout the sevendays of waiting for the eggs to harden, she still kept from warming to most of the candidates.
An afternoon at Honshu seemed like any other -- until, of course, the dragons lifted their voice in a clear, distinct thrum. What candidates that could be found were instructed to don their robes and move onto the Sands. The strange thing was, though, that only a few of the eggs had begun to move; the rest were still. Two eggs hatched, that afternoon, oddly-colored topaz and jasper ones. In the end, Darian -- D'rian -- found bronze Ziath, and Liana found brown Krith.
Perhaps a bit disappointed, Caresa continued along with her candidates' duties -- until, of course, the eve came about. The dragons thrummed once more: and she, Caresa, knew the rest were to Hach. With the remaining candidates, she filed onto the Sands. There, standing near Jesica and Cailet, but somehow apart, the girl watched as, first, fellow Beastcraft apprentice Cailet paired with blue Japheth; soon after, Rianwyn became lifemate to green Sabrinath. No sooner than that, two more hatched: Janaev's green Alamoth and S'ren and blue Hadarth. Tauna quickly Impressed green Maieth, with Salrni pairing off with brown Ryzilth soon after. Brown Iraith chose Adali, next, and -- surprisingly -- the young bronze upon the Sands found no lifemate. Therefore, he barged into the stands and ended up choosing Varrus: quite the pair, V'rus and bronze Mahalath.
With only two dragonets left upon the sands, Senior Weyrwoman suddenly stepped in a made a startling announcement: goldrider Zara of Igen had convinced her lifemate, Brenth, to lay a clutch at Cedoa. In the end, a gold egg -- since Honshu so desperately needed one -- was brought to the Sands... and had managed to Hatch at the same time as the rest, no less. The appearance of the gold seemed to push one dragonet into finding a lifemate: bronze Nalth chose K'lin, and then there were two left. The queen and brown knew who they wanted: Jesica found gold Emalith; Caresa -- /Caresa/ -- found brown Dranth. Her love.
Weyrlinghood has passed quickly for the new pair. Both Dranth and weyrlinghood have seemed to have a positive influence on Caresa: she works hard, talks more, and seems not as worried about revealing her emotions -- especially her uncertainty.
Right on out of weyrlinghood, Caresa and Dranth served for a short time as Weyrlingmaster for the next clutch, yet quickly and quietly retired when the stress proved too much for the young pair.
