Oh, heavens! Isabeth and Sparneth's clutch just hatched on Fort's Sands (11/10/02). What was so special about this Hatching, however? Aelren --- M'gael's 14-turn-old son --- found his lifemate on the Sands, the rugged bronze Imanjeth. Also to Impress: Shyona & gold Aiwenth; Q'van & bronze Quzanth; P'wel & blue Nith; I'rao & blue Ihyvath; and Atre & green Ghiath |

Just the facts, ma'am. |
M'gael. He's -- dragonrider, now of fourteen turns. After serving in Stormriders' Wing after all this time, he's been moved to Sentinel under greenrider Zephre, a woman he admires because she commands so much respect. And also because she's the mother of his only child, Aelren, who's -- well, what is he now? twelve? thirteen? How the turns fly by!
Former smith apprentice, over at the Istan Hall; and former layabout at some inconspicuous, out-of-the-way minor hold in Bitra's terrority. Oh, but it's not as if he thinks of that now -- he has his mind on other things: his new wing assignment, Ista's upcoming clutch, and -- should he really get Aelran a big old mountain dog to keep the boy company?
Age-wise, he's just passed his thirty-first turn: moving up into adulthood, you could say. As for his looks, he's almost homely; though he's grown into his age quite well, with brown close-cut hair, otherwise wavy and maybe even unruly if he'd ever let it grow out; high forehead, crooked nose (a direct result of a childhood fight with a brother!), and thin lips. Beady and bright eyes, olive in color, are almost lost in the shadow of his bushy eyebrows, but at least he's got some muscle to his once lank and lean body. Dragonriding does that too you, though.
Family's all back at Bitra, still -- living out their lives for all *he'd* know. He's living out his life, with a dragon he's finally learning to settle into: bronze Theronth. His Theronth, reckless and fastidious Theronth -- who loves him, and M'gael loves right back; but they love each other in their own way. Oh, there's Yose, too: the little fat -- lazy -- firelizard who's content enough simply to be fed and sleep his turns away.
Check out a picture of M'gael.
