His high, broad forehead is well hidden by long, almost silky, strawberry blonde hair that flips arrogantly above short, arching eyebrows. Beneath them are his eyes -- narrow and of a cold, nondescript blue. His features -- and face in general -- are also narrow, thin; and while lips are little, his nose is long. Much like his countenance, his body is slender with little apparent sign of musculature. For a man, he's of average height and slight build. Underneath a large black apron, tied around his small frame, is a beige tunic made from coarse, thick material. His pants are dark brown and a little too short; they hang above scuffed and roughed brown work boots. The simplistic knot -- black, white -- of a Telgar kitchenhand dangles from his shoulder.

a brief look @ his life:

He's of the Nabol Hold Bloodline, the fourth son of the Lord Holders -- a part he manages to play quite well with all his arrogance and sullenness. But he's not at Nabol anymore, no: he's "relocated" to Telgar Weyr, working in the kitchens. Not quite fitting for a Lord Holder's son, huh? But he's managing. He's enduring the suspicion and rumors surrounding his arrival to the Weyr. He doesn't quite like the people, yet, but maybe he just has to get used to them. Doesn't like the weather -- or the dragons, either. All with time, he keeps telling himself. All with time.

It's been about a turn and a half, now, since he's been at Telgar. Unsurprisingly, he doesn't like it any more than he did when he arrived -- perhaps less. He's bored with his job -- those hot, smelling kitchens -- and bored with the people. Though perhaps it's his fault that he's not made an attempt to seek out friendships.

He's just gotten a letter from Nabol, though. He didn't go home for his mother's extravagant 50th turnday party -- which caused many, many murmurings among the party guests. His parents are quite upset. Aside from that, Nabol's crops are good and his older brother Dirne is now a father to his fourth little girl, Liran. Oh, and his parents mentioned five or six times that his sister, that old spinster Rianne, is coming to check up on his behavior. Great.
